In today's lesson we're going to start off by reviewing the four tones and the basic sounds of Chinese - pinyin.
Next we'll review our greetings and learn some new ones too. As part of this, we'll learn how to read and write our first Chinese characters, and will explore how characters are put together.
We're also going to learn to ask "How are you?" and how to say "I'm fine".
Also, we will learn how to ask someone's name in a couple of different ways, and of course, learn how to tell someone else our names.
Finally, we'll learn some useful classroom phrases that will help you to ask and answer questions about Chinese.
